As we begin the 2020-2021 school year remotely, one way we can remain connected as a community is through the PTA. Thanks to you, our community, Sunrise Elementary school was one of eight schools in Washington to receive a 100% PTA Membership Award. Sunrise PTA exists to advocate for every single student at our school. Sunrise PTA funds our amazing Science teacher and program, coordinates enrichment classes, gives funds to classroom teachers and specialists, and strives to create events that bring families at our school closer together. When you become a member, you strengthen our community and extend our reach right here at Sunrise! Girl Scouts

Scouts BSA
Cub Scouts - For Boys and Girls K-5 Sunrise Families - your local cub scout pack 427 is going strong. We serve BOTH Boys AND Girls in grades K-5 with fun activities, outdoor adventures, service projects, character building, and more. It has been said that "Scouting is a game with a purpose." We take that to heart, keeping our pack and activities engaging and fun.

Art Docent
We are so excited to get our Art Docent program rolling again this year! We would love to hear from you if you would like to be a part of it in any way. Our school district art docent members are working hard to have 2 lessons per grade per month available for us to use! This is great news. If you would like to help them in any way, please contact Natalie Campbell (ncampbell@nsd.org). If you would like to sign up to help us here at Sunrise to provide an art lesson in your child's classroom or help in any way, please email Andra Ingebretsen (andra.ingebretsen@gmail.com) or Lisa Kramer (lisa.nj@gmail.com).
